I've been known to turn it on for background noise if I'm on the computer late at night. I can always use a laugh. Last time I had it on, he was selling 96 SAE's, ungraded, for $196 each! I figured I must be missing something, so I bought two!

It's absolutely incredible that anyone would go for any of his "deals". Not only that, but the show in general just stinks. It falls into the category of "so bad it's funny"!

I do the same thing - only I watch the Coin Vault on Shop At Home (I get some interesting background on coins but mainly cause its so funny!)

The other day they were selling the new Buffalo in MS69 for $1200 which was " way below melt!"

I fell off my chair and hurt myself!

It makes me wonder about this show. If he actually offered a fair price he might more than make up the difference in volume sales.

I dont know. But the people buying must not ahve any clue regarding coins. I mean NO CLUE.

However, he is a great salesman....I would hire him in a second!!

Exactly - very few people know - for example - that they can buy a proof coin from the mint - and very few know about coin stores or online stores - and so they see the TV shows and figure these guys are honest.

But the more I watch the more flabbergasted I am!

And you have to figure - the coins are going out by the thousands cause in most cases they have to have minimum a thousand of an item to even sell it on TV!!!!!

Shop At Home sold a regular buffalo coin that APMEX was selling for $620 at the time, for $999 and told you it was a steal at that price!

It was!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they were the ones doing the stealing!! :D
